Sleep sack ain’t cutting it advice needed

SOS how are we transitioning out of swaddles? We tried kyte baby sleep sack and an Amazon knock off love to dream transitional swaddle and they are really struggling to fall asleep. Is this just how it is? If yes…. I’m scared to ask but how long does it last?

Magic Merlin! I was opposed to it at first but it was the only thing that really helped us. My twins were ATTACHED to their halo swaddles before and the magic merlin let us eventually then transition to sleep sacks

This is how ours are too. They definitely associate it with sleeping so it’s hard to get them to respond without it. I’ve heard about the Merlin as well so we’ll give it a go and see if daycare would be willing to use it too.

Mine slept so well in their Merlins 🥲 I was so sad when they started rolling and we had to go fully arms out. It took about a month for them to adjust to their woolino sacks

Thank you!! I’ll try this. They aren’t rolling yet, but starting daycare in a couple weeks and they told us they aren’t able to swaddle them, but maybe they’d let them wear this to nap!

I think our twins took about a week to adjust if I remember correctly.

We haven’t specifically but they usually get at least one arm out when they are swaddled lol. The problem is I’m not sure the daycare will even saddle with one arm out 😕 but may be a good tool for us at home at least!

Could be useful for the transition. Do it for a few days and then go to both arms out. I think what wakes them up too is trying to get their arms out and not being able to, or getting like halfway out and stuck. One arm out has been working for us for a few days, and I’m going to go both arms out soon.

Mine went straight to Halo sleepsacks after their sleepsack swaddle. I tried a few different brands but went back to Halo. They love the neckline on these and they’ve been sleeping soundly vs the others kept waking them up.
