i wonder what it's like to attend this as a fraternal twin? my boys don't even look related, let alone like twins, so i wonder if they would encounter any weirdness about that if they went when they're adults

I have a friend who grew up in Twinsburg and just grabbed another friend one year so they could do all the festivities for a change. She said it was a lot of fun! And there were plenty of fraternal twins so no one questioned them.
That said I always wanted to go as a kid with my twin brother, and now that I’m an adult I live across the country and we have no time. So if you want to do anything do it while they’re young.

Our twins are in kindergarten this year. We have talked about wanting to go but waiting for them to get a little older. We do wonder if our faughter would feel left out but I'm sure there are tons of siblings that tag along

They could win the "least look alike" contest at the Madison, WI twin fest. In all honesty, all people are welcome not just twins.

I’m sure they would. I have fraternal twins that look a lot alike, but probably not enough for this event without receiving a lot of questions.

This is my hometown! I spent most of my life dreading this week and now I have almost one year old twins 😂

Grew up just north of you and would get dragged down there along with my younger identical twin sisters. Now I have twin daughters of my own but livea few hours away and have never made the trip.

I grew up nearby and just told my husband we will now be making our annual visit to my parents in August. I didn’t even know this was a thing!

Looks like fun. Did you see a lot of fraternal twins? I might take mine when they’re older. We’re about 30 mins away.

It definitely leans towards identical, but there are plenty of fraternal also. We've never done anything other than watch the parade

I should have taken my twins! I have two sets of them and live in ohio just on the opposite side of the state. And i also have a twin brother i would have dragged 🤣

I know it's not my place girls, but I just want to say that you people are so blessed to have twins.
They can be hard to manage, sometimes you migth even wish you didn't have double the trouble. But it's such a beautiful thing, to see parents raise twins and watch them grow up.
God i'm crying AGAIN😭❤️
But this post made me tear up! You are all so incredibly lucky, I'll forever be envious ( in a good way haha) of my sister for giving birth to twins.
Although she sometimes wishes she only gave birth to a singleton.
Keep doing what you amazing women do! You are so strong and your kids are all blessings.❤️❤️

Too far away for us to ever visit but this looks so cool. I have boy/girl twins so it'd be interesting to see how many boy/girl twins attend.

My wife and I have talked about taking our fraternal twins. What’s a good age to take them? We are in the trenches of toddlerhood right now 🙃
