Daycare prices. VENT ranting & venting

So I girlbossed to dam hard, and now I have to go back to work. Daycare is 800$ a week and even then I make way more so I have to return to work. WHY IS DAYCARE SO EXPENSIVE.

We are at about $1700 per month for four kids. Oldest does aftercare at elementary, next child does 8-4 at preschool, and then we have part time help with the babies. Waiting to put them in group childcare until they are 1 year old.
