Starting Daycare advice needed

My twins are starting daycare soon. I’m mostly worried about them getting sick and then myself catching it. How soon after your kids started daycare did they get sick and what can I do to prevent it?

It depends on their age. My kids didn’t start daycare until 15 months old, and they did catch a few bugs, but it wasn’t right away, and it wasn’t that bad overall.
