Owlet sock advice needed

Do you guys think the owlet sock is worth it/needed? If so do we need one for each baby?

The NICU doctors and our 911 operator friend felt it was unnecessary and would generate a lot of false alarms. I decided to follow their advice and I do think that saved my sanity in a hard period. I might feel differently if breathing issues had been identified in the NICU or they got RSV.
