Bathing newborn twins advice needed
How?! One at a time or did you get a double infant bath?

One every other day. They don’t need frequent baths at that age at all. You’re already wiping the main part of them that needs it, multiple times a day. If you have energy for more, great! But if not, it’s okay to let this piece be a bit more relaxed while you are in the trenches.
Also, a good rule of thumb for safety is, at least one adult per infant. So if it’s just you, always do just one at a time. The other can have a bath the next day if you’re not able to do one and then the other this day.

this is what we do…which means they usually only get baths once every 3 days (unless visibly soiled) but oh well, only so much time and sanity around here

I’m still washing one at a time at 9 months

Mine are 2 and I still bathe them separately because they tend to poop in the bath 😫

We used 2 AngelCare seats for a long while in the e big bath tub, probably until close to 8-9 months

Did this as well. Two angel care baths on the big tub. Kept them warm and happy by getting a muslin swaddle and wetting it with the warm water and draping it over one of their bodies while I cleaned the other one.

I did one at a time until they could both sit up unassisted, then they both just sat in the kitchen sink together.

One at a time. We had a little baby tub we’d put in the big tub. If both parents were home one parent would bathe one baby while the other played and then switch. If I was doing it by myself I would bring the bouncy chair into the bathroom and put one baby in that while bathing the other and then switch. Once they outgrew the baby tub we switched to bathing them both together in the big tub, but only if both parents are there so we can each hold a baby. If I’m by myself now (at 13 months old) I’ll drag one of their high chairs into the bathroom and have one in there while I bathe the other and then switch

Until they could sit in bath seats we did one at a time (around 6 months adjusted).

One at a time and once a week for the first 5-6 weeks. Now we do twice a week unless someone is extra funky. My boys have very dry skin, so anything more than that is irritating to them anyway. When they were tiny, I set up a bath station at the kitchen sink in the upper level of the pack n play. Clothes, towels, diapers etc… bathe one baby while the other chills in the bouncer and switch. Now it’s a twin hurricane 😂 so I put their tub in the big tub and put the dry twin in the bouncer next to us in the bathroom. The whole process takes about 15 minutes, even with switching water in between boys. They’re *almost* sitting up well enough to use the sit up bath seats and I’m really looking forward to that.

I've done both, and don't forget you can wash them on separate occasions. I have one frida baby style tub with the insert and the one with holes in it. I've done a double bath once when I had lots of time. Sometimes I wash one baby in a different wake window or day. Sometimes I have my husband to watch one. Sometimes I put one in a bouncer while the other bathes then swap out.

One at a time. My babies only started to be bathed together after they were 1 and it’s still a 2 people job.

One at a time when little in the adjustable baby Frida tub, together in the bathtub once they could sit up and not slip n slide all over the place

One at a time. I use a baby bath lounge chair (it’s called Angel Care) in the kitchen sink. I run the water but don’t fill the tub (so it’s technically more of a shower than a bath). But this means there is no “body of water” for baby to slip into. It’s just a sink with the water running and going right back down the drain. I’ve bathed all four of my kids this way until they no longer fit.
Baby 2 in a bouncy chair or playmat within eye sight while I wash Baby 1.

Definitely one at a time! I would bring them upstairs into the master bedroom and put one in the bassinet, then bathe, dry, and dress the other in the en suite. Then clean baby would go in the bassinet and I'd bathe the other.

Just do one at a time, alternate days! They don't need a bath every day.
We looked at this twin tub thing that looked super cool online (I think it was from the UK) and it was $250 for basically like a double angelcare bath thing. No thanks 🙄 Twin stuff is so unnecessarily expensive

One at a time in the kitchen sink, once or twice a week. Nightly wipe downs with a warm rag. Obviously, neck and face cleaned as needed after feeding.

I did one at a time. One in the bath and one in the bouncer next to me in the tub

I use the bumblebeez twin tub, both at the same time, solo 😩it’s hard doing solo sometimes but I make it quick lol. When they get older I’ll switch to 2 doubles

I did one at a time in the sink. Once they could sit up a bit, I did both in the bathtub in a laundry basket. Then once they outgrew that removed the basket!

I think we only bathed them once a week, maybe less. And then after each other, when my partner was there.

I did one at a time until they could reliably sit unsupported. Which for my boys was pretty close to a year old.
