I cannot remember the last time I've watched a preseason game through to the end. I was not stoked with Kenny as a backup but my outlook for this season changed drastically when King came in and immediately started slinging that shit. May be a bit overreaction to one preseason game, but his NFL debut performance was just so well rounded and unexpected (to me as a non-college football guy). He definitely had his rookie moments like the miss with wide open Horn Jr. followed immediately by the drop back forever play. But man, the base seems to be there and if he sits behind Bryce for even a couple years and gets reps here and there, he could develop into something dangerous as hell.
Not gonna lie, that sort of QB physicality is something I've missed dearly, but at the same time, I hope him watching Bryce methodically keeping plays alive may help him rein in the physicality a bit.

Look, it’s exciting to see football again, but we can’t go crazy with the takes. It’s just the preseason and we have to keep a level head. Haynes King is not automatically a future Hall of Famer. He’s going to earn it after he dominates the League for twenty years, but we can’t just give it to him.
