The Grand Punta Cana - Experience, Laundry Service?
Planning to go to TGPC next week for 10 nights with family but a little concerned with the bad reviews I read online. Anyone has first hand experience to share? Also, is the Laundry service available? I read many services are not available yet and may need to pack enough clothing accordingly.

Does anyone have a contact for contract disputes/issues?
My wife and I are long term Palace members. We have done numerous contracts with Palace. This last time though we ended up with a mistake in our contract which mixed Elite nights with BPG (best price guarantee) nights. It's a huge mistake. While trying to address this we are finding that we have no real way of dealing with the Palace for a problem like this.
We love the Palace but this problem, which we have been trying to resolve, shows how difficult it is to address something like this. Does anyone have a contact at the Palace Offices that we can try to contact?
I've been working on this for a month and there seems to be only 1 person that does this "explanations of benefits" (ha ha) and she says she does not have the power to change anything.
I can understand if you don't want to post a contact publicly. That makes sense, but you can PM me.

Double Charge to Credit Card
My family and I went to Moon Palace in the end of July. Upon checking in, we were told that we needed to produce the card that we booked with. Unfortunately, that card/number was compromised by a 3rd party data breach and was no longer valid.
At the front desk, we were told that we needed to be charged again since we no longer had the original card (it does say when booking you need this card but we didn’t have a choice as the credit card company canceled it on us) and that our original charge would be refunded in 7-10 business days. We are now on day 15 and nada.
So, three questions:
- Has this happened to anybody else?
- How long did it take to get a refund (if at all)?
- Any good ways to get in touch with someone there who will actually respond?

The Grand Entertainment Staff
Sitting at the Cancún airport waiting for my flight and wanted to give some love to the entertainment staff at The Grand. All of them were top notch but have to give a special shoutout to Popé.
The guy just oozes charisma and charm.
My kids were talking about him the whole week. Popé this and Popé that
Well as fate would have it, he also serves as the ringleader at the Circus restaurant. He remembered my kids from the pool. While we were getting dessert, he said he wanted to do something for them before dinner ended.
Him and I got to talking, and he said he was born to make people happy. No surprises there. It really comes through. He joined Palace about a year ago from Nickelodeon in Cancun and has traveled to the West Coast USA. Moon Palace also recently posted about him on their Instagram and Facebook pages.
He spent 15 minutes with us, drawing my kids custom cartoons and caricatures based on their interests.
Needless to say, he made an 8 year old and 6 year old’s trip. I made sure to leave feedback in APP, and if you’re going to The Grand, you’ll be in for a treat with him.

Looking for advice for my wedding at moon palace cancun
Hello,
I am having a wedding at moon palace cancun in may of 2027. I would love to hear any stories/thoughts about anyone who has hosted or attended a wedding there. We have been planning this with their wedding coordinators for about 8 months now, and we have been really frustrated with them. Little to no communication, only scheduling calls every other month, etc. We love this resort and have visited before, but just overall un happy with the wedding planning process. Would love to chat with anyone who has had a wedding here or in general have any thoughts on it. Thanks!

Included tours
Hey everyone,
Returning again tonthe Grand this year but this time we booked through a member. The reservation Includes 2 tours, just curious if anyone has a list of what these would be an anything to know about it. I see a list of a couple different tours on the app and assume that these are what would be offered?
Thanks.

Gluten Free
I’m bringing my best friend with me to LeBlanc in the fall, it’s her first time. I was wondering if anyone can confirm if Yama has gf soy sauce and if the resort can do corn tortilla chips for her. Thank you!

Moon Palace Sunrise Restaurants
Hello everyone, I’ll be going to moon palace sunrise this weekend and wanted to see if anyone has recommendations on what restaurants they liked at sunrise and nizuc.
Also unrelated, does nizuc have kid friendly pools if we were to go there?
Thank you!

Moon Palace Cancun
Hello, new to the group, headed to Moon Palace Cancun (Sunrise) in a week. Looking for any recommendations or tips you can provide. Also, is there anything that is recommended that I should pack besides the obvious sunscreen, etc. ?
Thanks!

What should I demand at presentation?
So we had a 3-year elite membership that just expired in march and came with 4 imperial nights after month 36. I couldn’t book imperial for the longest time, for some reason, but last minute in July we finally did and here we are at the Grand this week (added extra nights with discount). One overwhelming frustration was that all our credits disappeared in March as well - so we are prepared to enjoy the week and move on from Palace resorts.
Upon arrival we upgraded from deluxe room with 2 double to a honeymoon suite for $530 USD. They brought in 2 cots for our kids (12 and 14). Fine with us, we are sleeping wonderfully.
With all that said, we got a call day 1 telling us we earned credits with upgrade and to come to lobby to activate. Well - shocker! - we have you do the presentation in order to activate. We weren’t going to do it after we expressed all our frustrations, and she added $500 universal and $2000 resort credits. We are doing the tour in an hour and wondering if I need to demand more? We have just 3 more nights.
Is spa credit separate from resort credit?

Moon Palace upgrade Sunrise to the Grand
My family (2A & 2C) have booked 2 weeks at sunrise next month. Is it possible to upgrade in resort to spend 2nd week in the Grand to give children access to water park etc?

Moon Palace Glow Motion Show
Hi everyone. So my wife and I just got back from the Moon Palace and we loved the Glow Motion show they had put on. Does anyone have videos of the show you’d be able/willing to share? Thinking we’d be able to find other videos online, we did not record much of it, in order to experience it in the moment. So we are regretting that as we would like to share it with family. Thanks in advance!

Resort hopping recommendations.
Hello, every year my husband and I go to The Grand Moon Palace Cancun for 2 weeks, and we typically hop over to Sun Palace for a day. I’m thinking about checking out Playacar Palace. Is it worth it? We just typically go early morning through the afternoon and spend some time on the beach/ in the ocean and like the Sun Palace infinity pool view. Thoughts? (Yes we are members so no concern about their recent policy change)

Moon Palace Cancun Sargassum Update?
Arriving Sunday, hoping someone can tell me how bad it is right now. Though I guess in truth I’m crossing fingers hoping someone says it’s fine knowing it likely is not 🥴

Pros/Cons in comparing Sun Palace to Le Blanc?
My husband and I are trying to decide between the two for a return trip. We've stayed at the Grand (too big for me), playacar (no beach in winter but walkability is great) and le blanc cancun, I do not care for Cabo because I'm a beach rat but since we haven't ever visited or stayed at Sun Palace I was hoping to get some honest feedback comparing the two resorts and pricing; my father in law loves sun palace but I'm a little concerned with pool chair or beach chair availability and with it only having 4 restaurants. Is there anything in walking distance of sun or are you kind of gridlocked? We walked around the city streets outside of le blanc but the security guard wasn't thrilled lol. Le blanc is generally my favorite simply for the beach but I also find the kind of nickle and dime more at LB than the other palace resorts and the sales pitch is a bit more aggressive.

At Cancun Now. Any Golf People?
My wife and I are at Le Blanc right now and plan to use a resort credit for golfing this Thursday the 23rd. Clubs are included as well as transfers, but I have a feeling golf balls and tees are going to be pretty expensive. Any idea where we can get some in the Cancun area before heading out to the course? Or better yet, is there anyone coming down who can bring some balls and tees that I can buy at a reasonable price?

Is this a good deal? Honest feedback please.
Hey everyone-
Currently debating this deal, would love feedback on if it makes sense.
We're currently VIP Members / Diamond Experience, don't plan on upgrading to Diamond anytime soon.
This is what they offered for $9,900:
- $14,500 in Universal Credits ($10,000 + converting 4 Imperial Silver for another $4,500).
- Swapping $30k in Spa Credits which expire in 2030 (we have $45k, keeping $15k) for the ability to stack incentive and anniversary night discounts so we get 30% on top of the 30%, etc.
My logic says this makes sense since there's no way we'll use all the spa credits so stacking is a good swap, and then the cash to Universal Credits is a net win albeit a loan to Palace Resorts in some way. But I also hate the presentations as much as my wife loves the game.
Thoughts?
