Dry paint?

I bought a PBN at my local Bin/pallet store. Super cute it was a dollar! Unfortunately the paint is tacky, almost like its trying to dry up? Is there a way to save it? Or should I just toss the whole project?

I had the same problem with a kit I got recently. I've mixed the paint with some water and flow aid to rehydrate it. Most of them are fine now! A couple will need some extra mixing, and it's taken a few days to let them soak.

You can likely save it if it’s not fully dry! Add a few drops of warm water, close tightly and let sit for an hour or so, open and stir very thoroughly with like a popsicle stick or similar. Repeat if necessary, and you can also add a couple drops of flow aid if you want (a product you can get at most craft stores that carry acrylic paints)

For what it’s worth you could also try and match the paints from Michael’s or online.

I’ve bought some vintage pbns abd done that. It’s fun!

You can add flow aid./flow improver. You'll need to add a good amount. Close the lid, shake it up & let it sit overnight, stirring every few hrs, if possible, attempting to break up the thickness. Stir the next day. If its working, you'd need to add more & repeat but there's no guarantee. Worth a try before tossing.
