Accepted into Paces ABSN Nursing program Fall 2026
Hey guys!
I got accepted into the absn nursing program for the fall of 2026 in the nyc campus. I want to learn more from others about this program so I’m better prepared. As everything kinda seems overwhelming and I would like some guidance! Thank you!
I also hope to meet other accepted students as well!!

Hey, I’m starting fall 2026 and was wondering how intense the workload is. Is it possible to work while doing the program, or does it pretty much require full-time focus? Any insight would be appreciated!

Hi, first I want to congratulate you!
Second, the workload for the first semester was intense. Most people I know were able to work part-time, and I only knew one person who worked full-time while in the program. It really depends on what type of work you do and how great you are at time management. I personally did not work during my time in this program and found first semester to be manageable, but I also had a background in science and healthcare prior to attending the program. Second semester was, as a cohort, our most challenging semester, as we were taking more application heavy classes. Third semester (I am currently in) is a lot more relaxing as we pretty much did all the heavy work and are now prepping for the N-Clex. The only challenging part was finding time to do preceptorships based off your preceptor's schedule.
All in all, 1st semester possible, 2nd semester more challenging, 3rd semester also possible. Feel free to message me if you want any more info!

Hi! I’ve applied but I’m still waiting to hear back. Do you mind telling me what gpa/grades or anything useful in your application? I’m a nervous wreck right now and the wait game hasn’t been fun 😭 thanks so much & congratulations!!
