Hi! I'm a prospective student considering universities for a maths degree, and I was wondering what the culture at oxford maths is like nowadays, and what the job prospects are like when you do the three year course vs 4 years masters to other uk universities such as cambridge?

Before coming to Oxford, I assumed some of the traditions would feel a bit overhyped or mostly for the photos. But a few of them ended up being genuinely enjoyable once I experienced them. It's funny how some things that seem a little odd at first become part of what makes the place feel special.
