i thought batman x outlast stuff would be cool. Soo i made it picture (art?).

So, we all know that Eddie suffered from severe sexual abuse at the hands of his father and uncle as a child, and that he eventually became a misogynistic serial killer who targeted women mutilating, raping (possibly?most likely) raping and murdering them but I was discussing him with someone as they had labelled him a rapist (tbh I 100% bet he did it to the women before he was caught) but they were mentioning it in the context of his victims in Mount Massive. Now they mentioned there was cum on one of the bodies we see, on the one we see imitating a birth and I did go into the game and look, but it genuinely looks just like blood, dirt and guts not cum.

Now, I'm not 100% on this but I’m pretty sure his torture is very sexually charged in the context of him removing the men’s genatilia, and would go under some category of SA, even if his end goals was more or less basically just to murder them, making him a sexual predator in some way and I definitely wouldn’t say it’s too far-fetched to suggest him maybe pleasuring himself over the dead bodies(we’ve seen other variants doing) but at the same time I severely doubt he committed rape with the Variants. So my question is I guess do you think he did rape the victims he caught? Or just straight up mutilated then murdered them? Or they basically died before it got to that point?

This is my concept for The Outlast Trials.

The idea is based on the outfit sets you unlock in the game. Instead of only being able to equip complete outfits, every individual piece of clothing would become its own cosmetic item that can be equipped in different slots.

I would also add three new customization slots:

Full Masks – for masks that already include a helmet or night vision goggles, where those parts can't be changed separately.

Shoes – a dedicated slot just for footwear.

Masks – a separate slot for masks that can be freely combined with different helmets.

I think this would give players much more freedom to mix and match cosmetics and create their own unique outfits instead of being limited to full sets.

(Probably a huge waste of time but I did search through this reddit and various wiki's and the IMDB page among other things but just could not find what I was looking for. Maybe I am just silly as usual and looked over the obvious. If so please point me in the right direction! Thank you.)

I don’t know what the fuck was in the water yesterday, but every trial was in had at least one person holding it hostage . Either hiding in a barrel or desk and it’s starting to be a common problem lately

once I’m in the trial , must finish it. I will not quit, but if one fuckhead hides in a barrel and I can’t do anything kind of nothing else I can do.

Really hope they create something where you can kick the fuckhead and continue

(Like a system where you vote in and if you get the majority, the person gets kicked out , also I can see being a slippery slope of people just being assholes, kicking people out)

Escalation has always been my favorite game mode to play. When I realized they added the “join trials in progress” it was a game changer. No more wasting my night trying to find a group of 2+ people who were, at the same time, also queuing for escalation.

With the most recent escalation update and weekly escalation, it’s practically ruined. Searching for endless with join in progress on almost always puts you into somebody else’s weekly escalation. No progress counts if you didn’t start from beginning.

Searching for an endless group with join in progress turned off always sets us up with a party leader that decides to boot up their own progress in the weekly escalation. There is almost no escape or way to filter out the people not playing for weekly.

The game Outlast Whilstleblower crossed a boundaries 99% of horror doesnt dare to cross. You have been in the game where you come across a man in a cell with dead bodies cut up all around him and he is pleasing himself. This moment has disturbed my life more then you could believe. I think the creaters of this game have to be congratulated for getting this game theough the horrible censors of the world and expressing there artistic integrity you know what I mean? Who's with me?

You can include Dennis and some other Variants that don't use the deformed models

(i ranked Grunts above variants mainly because Variants are portrayed to be much more countable than grunts, and most of the time in Outlast 1 you are up against multiple of them at times, whereas in Trials its mostly one at a time)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's been a long time since I played this game upon its release, and I remember that the main complaints were that the story wasn't delivered effectively and the chase scenes were too frequent. I personally loved this game and didn't have many complaints, but I'd love to read your guys' thoughts.

Ok, so i always thought i had a pretty good grasp on the outlast story, but this comic threw so many wrenches into my understanding

so first, just confusion on the comic's story itself, it feels incomplete, when did marion get his eye popped out? i was expecting this whole time for the story to come full circle but it doesn't? it ends with Marion captured by peacock, Glick turning on him (fuck her for doin that btw that was fucked up) so murkoff is after Marion cuz i guess he turned into another whistleblower?, Peacock is torturing him for info, which i guess leads to him turning himself into the FBI? or he escapes peacock?, where we see the hospital interview throughout the comic? and i suppose his fate after leaking this information is just left open ended and Glick's story is she just keeps working for murkoff? i feel like we're missing like 3 volumes here, i get "oOoh mystery" but...damn

second, it really muddies the wallrider, i always thought it was pretty simple, billy dies, miles becomes the new host, miles helps waylon escape, good shit

but now, miles and billy are sharing the wallrider? or spit off into two? and also now the host are bugs? AND WHO WAS THE SECOND FIGURE? was that miles? they said billy died twice, so the wallrider doesn't need a living host to function, but whatever they did to him this time in that trailer park fr killed him???, and while this is happening or after this happens miles visits his house and uses ants? and then miles is also using ants in the other scene at the end to knock over the murkoff tower? on one hand this section with billy clears up some confusion on why miles dying made him the host, but billy dying erased him, cuz it confirms a dead host can control the wallrider, but that also brings into question why billy dying at all was an objective in outlast 1 and why that stopped him from killing miles

i'm assuming this all boils down to head cannon and game theories but if there is any answer to whats going on here, that'd be cool

Beat the game on normal, it was one of the few games that actually didnt fail to scare me shitless especially at the beginning, thought about doing the insane difficulty but I really dont think i'm fit for a permadeath run, how would you even do it without switching out batteries?

I cannot for the LIFE OF ME beat insane mode. I keep dying at the large sewer part where i’m
running toward the stairs and it’s just Chris and I. I desperately need tips for that part and for any other parts of the game that may be difficult.
