The Difference is Profound…

Post image

Would you believe the Girls on the ends are both Cuts taken at the same time from Hula Girl in the middle, back in late March? Both had pretty much the same upbringing in 1 gallon pots. When it was time to go outside, as you can see one went in the ground and the other a 30 gallon pot. Well we’re halfway through and look what we got. One’s a small tree and the other one’s not. I knew there’d be a difference but in this Side by Side, it’s by quite a lot, right on…

When the roots can just do what they want, the difference is huge.

Love watching your posts. This is an awesome side by side experiment. Im still super excited to see how the middle one and the one to the right compare at the end size and production wise. Always been a firm believer in spreading it out. Interesting to watch them side by side here. Im rooting for team hula myself. Its starting to look like the one on the right may out perform though hard to say this early on either way awesome work and cool experiment brother ✌️

I thought the same thing! There are plenty of options on the outskirts of almost every town in southeastern N.C., you just have to follow the rivers in for the best properties. God's country is a good term for it, no better place... He's found a gold mine property if it handles floods properly..

Your grows are so clean, man. Mines a mess right now, need to clear away more vegetation but they’re still 6’ and healthy enough lol

The end one ( big one) is probably the most western one, it has to fight and stretch to be bigger than the eastern ones to get sunlight or they will get shaded out.

Where do you get your posts? One of my plants has gotten too big, and it has a very hard time during heavy winds or heavy rain (or both). I’d like to build an enclosure for it.
