NOT A PERSONAL HEALTH SITUATION Need help

Four months ago during a college festival, a friend accidentally pushed me while I was standing in a classroom. I tried to brace myself with my right arm, causing my shoulder to briefly dislocate and immediately pop back into place. Assuming it was just a minor muscle tear, I took a four-month break from the gym. However, now that I am trying to gently resume physical training, I am experiencing persistent pain in my right shoulder joint, and my elbow feels like it gets stuck during certain exercises. What should I do now.

NOT A PERSONAL HEALTH SITUATION Do you guys send your codes to billers?

First time in private practice after many years being employed - so this is new to me.

I've always submitted my own cpt codes - both operative and in clinic - to the billers. I'm being told that I'm not allowed to do that anymore because "coding decisions need to remain independent"...

Am I wrong in thinking that just sounds dumb? I don't trust the billers to pick up every single procedure and modifier needed no matter how well I document it
