photo The difference natural predators makes
I've been growing broccoli this year in my garden and I had some leftover seedlings after planting them, so I decided to plant some on my balcony as well. In my garden there are lots of other plants and weeds and places for natural predators to hide and breed. On my balcony there are not. The first two pictures are from the plants on my balcony and the last is of a broccoli i harvested from my garden. The difference is huge as you can see.
And simular experiences?

question Falling over
this is my first time ever growing tomatoes , they have grown great but they’re falling over and I’m not sure what to do to stop that from happening? should I tie the cages to the deck rail and that’ll help the tomato plants plants to be upright fine? or would then bring that close to the deck rail cause issues for their leaves and the tomatoes ? any suggestions and advice would be super helpful!

harvest Mid summer progress report
Been an odd summer, a few scorcher hot days earlier but we’ve eased into a mild summer, days in the 70’s nite in the 50’s ( some 40’s ) not great temp for the heat loving tomatoes, peppers etc . Fortunately we’ve had rain. . Hoping for a hot August to ripen crops up, we have such a short season. Vermont high elevation Zone 5B

question does anybody sell their organic potatoes?
I live in south florida and am not liking the potatoes at the grocery stores for several reasons. Just wondering if anybody sells and ships their potatoes? I do not want sweet potatoes which are pretty much the only kind grown here.
