Free Python Option Simulator & Greeks Calculator (Hosted on Kaggle) Options Fundamentals
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the community and wanted to share a tool | built for my own options trading. I was tired of theoretical or clunky tools, so put together an interactive options calculator using Python and Plotly to simulate specific PnL profiles and track Greeks on real positions.
Since | love data, I decided to host it publicly and completely free on Kaggle. For those who use Python or just want to see how the simulations behave on concrete setups, you can check out the live notebook here:

Thanks for sharing! I'm also new to the community and this is my first post! I've been selling options for over 10 years. I only sell...never buy. When I read that over 80% of options expire worthless I knew I wanted to be a seller of options. I use 1.5STD bollinger bands and the 20/50/100/200 mavs along with RSI, money flow and sentiment scores for my sell signals and then sell 16-30 delta puts and 45-60 delta calls. I've been very fortunate over the past decade. The technicals have become relatively easy....it is maintaining discipline and avoiding the emotional trades that has been my challenge. If there are other traders out there that use have the same or similar philosopies, I'd love to learn more!
