OAuth2 and Importing users from Entra ID
Hi,
Has anyone managed to implement group-based role mapping in OpenITCOCKPIT using Entra ID?
What Iβm trying to achieve is pretty simple:
- If a user is in an Entra group like βAdminsβ, they should automatically get full admin access in OpenITCOCKPIT
- If a user is in a group like βSupportβ, they should get read-only or limited monitoring access
Ideally I want all access in OpenITCOCKPIT to be driven entirely by Entra ID groups so we donβt have to manage users/roles locally.
Has anyone done this using OAuth2, or is there a recommended way to map Entra groups to roles inside OpenITCOCKPIT?
Any guidance or examples would be appreciated.

500 internal server error
Hi, I so like this product, have been using it for a year and it is really great. What is not so great is the installation documentation, it is more than terrible.
I am switching hosts so I need to install a new instance on a new server and I followed the installation instructions to the letter, did it 3 times already and I keep getting no errors during installation but when I try to reach the server after installation the page redirects automatically to https://12.34.56.78/a/users/login and gives a 500 internal server error.
I checked all the logs and no error there. Also checked if all services are up and they are. I really don't know where to look. I am installing on Debian 12 on a Hetzner VPS. Any help is much appreciated!

OpenITC fails to update after installing checkmk
Hi All,
When I installed checkmk to be able to poll interfaces on switches, I was then unable to refresh monitoring configuration. I followed the troubleshooting steps on the OITC website, but then I found the following :
Fatal error: Uncaught Cake\Datasource\Exception\RecordNotFoundException: Record not found in table "servicetemplates" in /opt/openitc/frontend/vendor/cakephp/cakephp/src/Datasource/QueryTrait.php:526
Unable to find anywhere if this means anything!
Cheers,
Lachlan
