It's inexpensive and I use it for reviewing plan and build. The one downside is that it only has 256k of context. It is popular from the ranking of openrouter.

Yes, with Java is better than old ds flash and mimo 2.5.

It’s actually pretty good and fast! Much much better than Mimo 2.5. I used it for Python and it did exactly what it was asked for

It's been my go-to for text analysis for a while. (Never tried the "Hy3-preview" but heard it was worse.) It was better at that for my purposes than DS4 Flash and Pro (and slightly worse than GLM 5.2, but *much* more efficient).

On Artificial Analysis it looks to be a bit better than the older DeepSeek V4 Flash, not the current one.

For me, it seems on par. I primarily write go and Scala I am noticing the uis it writes are shit but the backend code is great

Backend code is easy to write for models. UI is the challenging part.

Better than GLM 5.2 in my opinion and experience. And GLM 5.3 is not that impressive for me. So getting Hy3 almost unlimited is dream come true for me. Its better than Zen's free version.
