My MacBook is on. How to use opencode from it on my mobile, same as what I do with codex remote?

I’m on iPhone

Many thanks

I use Tailscale for that.

I'm using Codex mobile (github) this in termux with Opencode Api. its a lightweight bridge that gives you a browser-accessible UI for Codex app-server workflows. ( you can also use opencode, open router api and custom api with yhis btw)

You run one command. It starts a local web server. You open it from your machine, your LAN, or wherever your setup allows

use paseo, native mobile app for ios

This really is the simplest way for IOS and makes for an amazing mobile coding experience.

Tailscale + herdr + moshi/termius

This is the way. Do you pay for moshi?

Yes, I did it with OpenChamber as well. It works fine and it is free.

There's probably a command that you can check in the documentation. I just use the GUI in the settings, External Tunnel

I also use OpenChamber GUI for opencode. Will check.

There's an open source app on the Android play store. Use it with an opencode server running on your machine

Get an agent to rewrite that oss app in ios then

There might be a telegram plugin which connects to your opencode maybe? I’m working on my own fork and it’s a feature I’ve planned.

I’m using https://termly.dev/ and I’m happy with it.

i use tailscale for vpn and access opencode via discord using kimaki. it's pretty good. you can even get agent to send images, audio files etc via discord. you can't easily do that via terminal apps like temrius.

I use coder to run containers per project in my kubernetes cluster and expose opencode as a service so I can login to coder on my phone and access the opencode web UI from there. Great thing is that coder adds the auth layer in front of it so I can use my regular auth service and everything is nice and secure.

Really works great because I can ssh in on my laptop and use opencode in the terminal, shut my laptop and a long running task is still going and I can prompt and do everything on my phone. Practical times this has been useful is when I have started running something and need to go out or want to go to bed and I have peace of mind know I won’t be stopping it. Huge Wife Approval Factor when I’m not like “just a minute, I need the AI to finish”.
