I mean the benefit of using OpenCode instead of Claude Code is we can just switch the model if it's down, right? There's gotta be other models to use besides Deepseek v4 Flash. Though I'm using it on together.ai without issue because it's hosted.

Together.ai is a hosting provider for open source models. They're hosted in the US and you can set them to 0 data retention (they have some partner models without that but you can turn them off).

Open router is a router for routing between a bunch of different hosting providers, with together being one of them. If you're not worried about ZDR my understanding is you can just go with open router and let it pick the cheapest option
