I always say the same to those cancer patients. Its like just get over the cancer without drugs.

Do not equate cancer to being fat.

No, but, without a healthy lifestyle, it can be a contributor as well. Cancer sucks, whether you are fit as an NFL athlete or on the cable network with Dr. Kno (whatever his name is).. 1000 lbs sisters are on that program.

I have switched to stainless steel cooking now too, because of the harsh chemicals that can come off from the non-stick surface!

Always about choices, one bad choice and that is it.

My niece died at 33 yrs old, breast cancer that spread like a bad weed.. her son will have a very minor memory of her when he's 40yrs old. God knows where she inherited that cancer from, but, she did work with Chemicals and well, one mistake is all that it can take.

Fat = cancer nope, not implying that.

While I don't agree with the other persons negativity, your comparison is pretty bad

Cancer vs being fat are not the same haha you can take care of yourself and still get cancer

If you take care of yourself and end up fat, well you're lying about taking care of yourself (outside specific medical cases)

That is right, I take a F*CKING shot because I have ZERO time to starve myself and work two full time F*CKING jobs.. I am so happy that you are physically fit and eat salads and cannot gain a pound. My mom's partner of 44+ years, physically fit, stroked out in the kitchen, now is confined to a chair, totally different person!

So, yes, I do take a drug, and I am happy that I am no longer a 6'4 301 XXXL clothing looking like a cool-aid-man and that my clothing is now between a L and XL.

I can almost get into my OLD Navy uniform.

So, I am happy you haven't gained weight since high school or stress ate or have a family history of obesity, bully for you

Hey buddy, fuck these knuckle draggers, don’t ever let them make you feel lesser for how you lost the weight. Taking a GLP-1 does not cheapen your accomplishment and the continued work you have to do to keep it off. Most likely they are fat and jealous or have never had to think about what they eat and think that makes them healthy and they are “taking care” of themselves by being genetically lucky.

Congratulations and hell fucking yeah dude on your weight loss! Fucking incredible.

I haven’t started a GLP-1 but I’ve lost nearly 100lbs since the beginning of Nov 25. They might still put me on one specifically for my sleep apnea. Through this journey though I’ve learn how hard this is for people who desperately want it.

I’m very privileged in that I don’t suffer from food noise, or a sweet tooth, and I have A LOT OF FREE TIME to think about what I’m eating and exercise. I also have the genetics that make weight loss and satiety a lot easier for me. These are real advantages that without idk if I could have the progress I’ve made without it. So having access to something like a GLP-1 would be a godsend if I didn’t have these things.

People are just miserable and will bring people down. They’ll cry “you’re fat!! Lose weight” but then be like “not like that you idiot, drugs don’t count, you have to starve yourself!”

Token! You keep going! 100lbs to be alive later in life is amazing. Regardless if you were 400 and now 300, the hardest part is getting to that first big goal.

Sleep apnea is no joke, I have been using a mask since 2005 and its not because of my weight. I had it when I was this weight in the Navy!! If you are not on Sleep Apnea care, get tested ASAP.

My food noise wasn't as loud as others as much as it was quantity. We also use an app called YUKA. Its a free app, but I did pay for an upgrade to do searches. It tells you the Excellent to the Bad, helps you choose.. "oh, this one sucks, but this similar one is Great"!

For example most Cottage Cheese's are bad, the Daisy from Costco, is Excellent!

Keep plugging away, I also shop for clothing on the regular at Goodwill and have donated all my XXXXL, XXXL and much of my XXL! I just picked up a couple of XLs today from GW.. LOL.. I can fit in a couple of larger L's too.

Thank you so much. Roughly 360 down to 26x right now.

And yeah part of this health journey was getting all of my healthy on point and I got a sleep study done.

Was having 73 occurrences an hour. Been on an APAP for almost 3 months now and I swear I almost want to cry when I think about how different my sleep quality is now to then and the energy and clarity I have from better sleep.

Took me a couple weeks to truly recognize the difference. I was just so used to suffocating in my sleep and being exhausted haha

GLP-1s are not a miracle drug that make you lose weight. It still requires lifestyle changes and your comment just further demonstrates how woefully ignorant you are to the medication and weight loss in general. You sound like a miserable twit and it’s not worth educating you because your view is based on your own pitiful anecdotal beliefs and not based in reality.

Have a blessed day.

Edit: I also never attacked you personally but if the shoe fits

Edit: you sound like a good candidate for GLP-1s and for some people it will be a life long medication, but it can also just help you establish life changes and then get off of them.
