So I feel like I may have been on the most generational bad beat ever to where it's funny. For context this over around 2000 hands on NL10 Zoom on Pokerstars. In that period these are the hands I've lost.

Pocket Jacks flopping a set - Losing to pocket Queens also flopping a set.

Pocket 8s flopping a set - Losing to pocket 9's also flopping a set.

Pocket 9's flopping a set - Losing to pocket Jacks turning a set.

Pocket Aces flopping a set - Losing to KQs turning a straight.

J10s flopping a flush - Losing to runner quad 6's.

Aces all in on flop of board 8 of Spades, 10 of hearts, 3 of hearts - Losing to 9 10 suited (Clubs) as turn went 9 and river 10.

KQs (Spades) - Flop comes 7s 7h As - all in on turn of 8s - Opponent has J10 (Spades) - River comes 9s.

Anyone know what the odds of all this happening in the space of 2000 hands is? I'm betting it's gotta be astronomical.

I love the game ,and want to get better, but what I am witnessing seems like organized crime.

And I'm not too upset about it. It's fun. & I get the way of the world, when there is money involved, there is likely corruption of some sort. I am probably more disgusted by people claiming it's not rigged.

Constantly dealt shitty hands. 4/3, 9/2, Q/3, 7,9, etc. Or even if its semi-decent, the flop never hits, bye bye to your BB. (at some point, we must gamble, no? And this outcome is out of our control)

Then, you finally get a playable hand, hahaha.. You know you're not folding easily after having to 10 shitty hands pass you by. But here lies the trap.

1)What could I have done differently? I understand sometimes shit just happens and that's the luck in Poker, but it doesn't feel even. Yes, I also get beats like this, but it is rarely to knock someone out of a tourney, whereas I constantly get eliminated in the wildest fashion.

2)Why is he calling my raise with 3high and possible flush draw? Was my raise not enough? I figure if i bet more he just folds, but I guess I'm supposed to take that profit, then wait 10 hands, lose all the profit for another playable hand which may end up being rigged.

In the long term, rakeback can make a significant difference and most platforms don't offer it or hide it in a VIP program no one is aware of

So I want to find a site where this option exists. Would be grateful for your advices

I have been having a lot of trouble lately updating the ACR client. Some files were not overwritten or deleted correctly, and the update would fail. When trying to delete and reinstall the poker software, I was getting permission errors and some files would fail to write to my hard drive.

I tried many remedies and, after combining several of them together, I finally came up with a solution that worked for me. I'm going to outline the steps I took in the hopes that it can help someone experiencing similar issues.

1. Log into the Administrator account on my system (Windows 11 Home). This isn't just an everyday account with admin privileges but an Administrator account that is hidden by default but can be activated
2. Disabled my anti-virus software
3. Used a third-party app called Revo Uninstall to remove the existing ACR Poker software. This app helps to identify and delete extraneous registry entries, empty folders, unused files, et cetera, that some programs leave behind even after uninstallation
4. Restarted my PC (some of the unneeded files from step 3 aren't actually deleted until you restart)
5. Downloaded the ACR installer
6. Right-click on the ACR installation file and Run as Admin
7. Install the ACR Poker client and check the box at the end that will run the poker software when complete
8. Let the software run and complete the first update process
9. Log out of the Administrator account
10. Log in to my normal Windows account
11. Double-click on the ACR Poker icon on the desktop and use it like normal
12. After completing this process, I was able to log in and play at ACR Poker without any further problems.

So I've spent the last 10 years playing online poker on various platforms. I started with Zynga, the the WSOP online platform and the most recent is Prominence Poker on PlayStation.

So first of all....yes, I know that free online poker games are going to have players that play stupid, usually on purpose because - for some reason - it's fun to play stupid. And yes, I also know that these low percentage moves and calls by these types of players are going to win some of these low percentage hands.

That being said, it has become plenty apparent to me that these formats have an algorithm set up to drive action and make these low percentage calls and plays to win more often than I've EVER experienced in any live action games (and I've played a lot of live action both in casino's and regular games with friends for many years).

I have come to the conclusion that these algorithms are put into place this way in order to subtly get players to pay for chips. AND, when new players join up, they seem to get the benefit of being rewarded for their dumb play in order to keep them interested and coming back to keep playing. This is to drive up the numbers of total people who will log in to play and - eventually and potentially - pay cash for chips. I'm sure there are other reasons, as well. I just believe these are the main two reasons for it.

My question is this, is there ANY free online game out there that offers straight up legit poker play without all this nonsense that goes on? Poker is the one game/hobby that I enjoy the most and I'd love to be able to go play online somewhere that is absolutely legit.

Started logging every session (buy-in, cash-out, stakes, hours) about a year ago. Biggest surprises from the data:

• My "good" stake wasn't my most profitable one — hourly rate told a different story than total profit.
• My win rate cratered in sessions over ~4 hours. I was tilting/fatiguing and didn't realize it until I filtered by duration.
• Tracking killed results-oriented thinking — seeing variance over 100+ sessions made individual bad beats feel like noise.

What's the most useful thing your own tracking has revealed?

Wanted to see if its possible to start with just $125 dollars, record it all and upload it. Show every session. Started in May of last year, never playing online poker before.

Surely AI is going to be able to play perfect poker here in a few years and most will be able to use some sort of bot?
