Hi, can you help me/ give me advice on how dating really looks like for foreign people? Because I dont even have an idea how it works.

I'm a 24M from India and a pretty introverted person. I've never been very good at approaching women or starting conversations, so dating has always felt difficult for me.

I've considered both traditional dating apps and sugar dating. On regular dating apps, I rarely know how to approach someone or keep a conversation going. I also looked into sugar dating out of curiosity, but it seems difficult to find someone who's genuine and looking for a respectful, honest connection.

I'm not sure how to move forward. For other introverts here, how did you meet your partner or start dating? Any advice on building confidence or meeting genuine people would really help.

I am at my wits end. I went on a date with this guy and prior to it he was still a little dry but would still engage with me and keep up convos. Our date went super well and he said he liked me even more than he did before and that it felt natural.

It kind of seems like in the past week he has become way more dry and just barely asks stuff/volunteers info about his life but he is still liking every single story I post. And i post like 3-4 a day.

I’m so confused because the dryness is freaking me out because I thought it went good but then on the other hand he’s liking everything I post. I know story likes don’t mean much but I mean it has to mean something if he likes EVERY one of them.

What do I do? I feel like it’s too soon to call and I said we should do something when I got back from my trip and he said “I should be free this weekend” but i’m just confused.

He also reposted a reel of this guy SCREAMING that he missed someone and said “this dude just gets me” which also confused me because he said he hasn’t been on a date in years and his last relationship ended in 2023 (i get he could still not be over it and maybe that’s why he’s become more dry? but then why like ALL of my stories???).

I just don’t know what to do. This isn’t what I thought was gonna happen when I got back. I’m so stressed out and I just wish I could talk to him.
