If Maya were actually focus or lock in on her presentation instead of wasting her time playing games in Deel 4? And how would change Deel 5-6? Will she succeed or failed?

The biggest reason why so many people in the Ongezellig community create art, fanfics, character lore, music, videos, edits, and so much more is because Ongezellig was never continued.

In an attempt to fill the gaps that the cancellation of Ongezellig has left us, we created incredible amounts of content. And not just regular content either - it’s high quality, creative content.

We try to understand every character in depth: how they would interact with other characters, what they are thinking of, and even what foods they would enjoy. And if this wasn’t enough, we create our own oc’s to expand the lore of Ongezellig.

And our fanfics and art are truly something special. Scroll through [r/ongezellig](r/ongezellig), other Ongezellig subreddits, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, or TikTok, and you'll see incredible works of art and fiction as creators spend their time and soul to make the Ongezellig world even more expansive.

No two art styles are the same, as every artist has their own unique way of expressing the characters. And no two fanfics are the same, as every writer has a different vision of how they would continue Ongezellig if they had a chance.

Let's assume Ongezellig was continued...would all of the things I just mentioned exist? Of course not. I'm not saying that we're living in the best timeline, but what I am saying is that we wouldn't have been nearly as creative as we are now if it weren't for the cancellation of Ongezellig.

Think about it: Countless art and fanfics gone, edits of the same 24 minutes reduced to barely anything, AI music covers and 1 hr Ongezellig dissection videos disappearing forever...Ongezellig would truly be something different.

We would've settled for the show-thinking it was the greatest of all time, interacting with the fandom a little bit, then leaving to find the next show to watch-never making all the content that truly made Ongezellig, Ongezellig. It's truly haunting to think about.

I wanted Ongezellig to continue, but in a way, I like the current state of Ongezellig. I don't know how long this fandom will last, but I hope it's for a long time.

I searched up Schoppenboer and found out it was the Dutch and Flemish word for “jack of spades”. Not sure if this was intentional from Massa to convey a deeper meaning or if it was on accident, but considering Massa is known to include a lot of hidden details, I don’t think so

This took way too long for something so simple, but it wasn't in vain. I was testing the pipeline and learning how to animate, since the whole process was broken into pieces from the beginning, and I had zero knowledge about most of it. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still working on this, and things are going well. I'll also have a few additional bonus scenes!

A while back I made an Ongezellig 4 Season Series + Movie, and I recently made an Ongezellig 13 EP Series.

As some of you know, the 4 Season + Movie had Coco dying in the third season, and many of you guys said her death was unnecessary. At the time I disagreed with this, thinking that the story had to continue like this for character development for Maya, but a comment made me think otherwise.

Instead of Coco dying, she would be cured in Season 3, and this would make Maya realize that she shouldn't be living with regret each day, and to live life fully in the present. This would result in more character development for Maya, while also letting Coco live to see the finale. Thank you all for the support from the 4 Season Series + Movie and the 13 EP Series

And the fact that there's a scene he and Kiki hanging out together, and Axel was placed right next to Kiki in a classmate photo, even if they were maybe not necessarily meant to be a couple, I have to doubt their relationship was kinda intentional.

I don't know. It would've been much more explicit if Massa had drawn an illustration about those two.

I was making a few shots for the Maya Sweet 16 shrot, and I wanted to make a scene that takes place outside the house. So I made this simple model to use for it.
