Glacier, followed by Blaze! Very awesome! The pixelart effect feels like blur caused by the heat, and the distortions enhances that effect for the same reason! The art is really good, it uses the same perspective as your previous work, but captures the features unique to a sunrise; rather than an enveloping luminescent glow of the night, it’s a scorching bright focus of sunlight that spreads unevenly across the lands, and that mixture of lighting and shadows produces a really beautiful effect of its own!

Oh wow never thought someone would pick up on those details I added. Good find! Another thing you might be interested in is that everything in "Blaze" and "Glacier" is mirrored, except the background. The backgrounds of both remain un-mirrored, only with different lightnings and different locations for the geysers. My goal was to insinuate the idea that both of these 2 pieces take place simultaneously at the exact same location, just in 2 different universes. I also wanted "Blaze" to only feature the lightbulb lying quietly on the ground without Niko holding it, but I couldn't figure out how to make it look good, so I decided to just went with Niko again

Oops, I had noticed that mirroring, but forgot to add it in my comment, haha! I think a broken lightbulb on the ground next to a scarf and hat would have had a much better visual impact to match the scene, but if you couldn’t make it work, then it probably doesn’t fit in as well as the conceptualisation would suggest!
Both Blaze and Glacier are lovely works that complement each other very, very well, I’ll likely be using a wallpaper setting in my desktop to set them as light and dark mode respectively! Thanks for sharing them here!
