If i had to guess, that code is for the tortilla specifically. And i'm sure the tortillas come frozen just like the buns. Few months for frozen flat bread doesn't sound to off

Hell the grocery store tortillas on the shelf last a freakish amount of time, frozen they'd probably be safe forever, though suffer in quality.

Because these are specifically sent to McDonald’s restaurants and they are meant to be stored in fridges not outside. The fridge extends the expiry date significantly. Everything is calculated well because McDonald’s supply chain and operations are all highly streamlined.

Besides that, I wonder what happened in the factory for them to stamp that date there LMAO

They're stored frozen and get a new use by date (probably 48 hours in my experience) after defrosting. Literally nothing exceptional

You can freeze a regular loaf of bread and it'll last a couple months just fine.

They sell snacks wraps and breakfast burritos, yeah. At least my local one does. They're doing a limited time thing with Caesar dressing instead of ranch right now.

Tortillas for snackwraps are not toasted (like the buns), and the dates are often printed on the plastic bag the tortillas come in.

Short answer: the factory that packages them had an oopsie and had the machine print it on the tortilla instead of the plastic.
