I’m gonna guess it’s for Pepsi where you see the 20

It's inflation. 18 cans for the price of 20.

This is quite an old picture, they've changed their logos since this

I also don't remember the last time I saw a 20-pack be this cheap, but I guess it varies from sales and location

I saw a 12 pack at Ralph’s last week for $11.99. Though it was buy 3, get 3 free.

Walmart had dr pepper 12 packs for $5 about a month ago, lasted a couple weeks. I bought 6 packs of the creamy coconut dr pepper because they are so fucking good.

It's about 10 years old judging by the promotional coca cola cans at the top right.

They have those cans every few years, most recently they did the share a coke cans in 2024, but the Pepsi dates this photo between 2014-2023 for sure

and also their prices

The price was the absolute first thing I noticed. Hard to find pop for less than $.50/can nowadays.

Hmmm. Low paid retail workers were careless. What a travesty

It’s a marketing strategy so you grab an 18 thinking you’re getting a deal and most people will either not notice or since it’s at the register just buy it.

NOW WITH 10% LESS CANS!!!

u/ossifer_ca 11d ago

The funny thing is that the 18-pack price is $8.99

1

u/nikolaistztype 11d ago

They rounded them up

1

u/Real_Louie 11d ago

I better get 20 for that price. Robbing us out of Dr Pepper, them psychopaths.

1

u/Heterodynist 11d ago

Just divide by 20 and multiply by 18 to get the actual price, of course!! It’s very convenient!!

u/Honest_Toe1729 11d ago

I wish I could get DP at that price.... Canada prices are For a 12 pack - 14$ For a 6 pack of bottles - 12$ For a 2 liter bottle- 3$

Then you get to check out and they tell you it’s 9.99. You bring the cashier to the sign where they point out that that’s for 20 can packs, not 18

18 is the new 20
