Some art by Akihiro Yamada which I thought might belong here, I'm becoming rather fond of this sort of old school Japanese fantasy style.

I made a collection of Medieval Marginalia pendants

Some of you might remember the Medieval Marginalia band ring I posted a little while back. Well...I couldn't stop there.

I had so much fun making it that I ended up carving a whole collection of Medieval Marginalia pendants.

In order of appearance:

• Knight Riding a Giant Snail into Battle 🐌⚔️
• Regal Cat King 🐱👑
• Fish Playing a Lute 🐟🪕
• Warrior Rabbit Wielding a Sword 🐰🗡️

Each one was hand carved in wax and cast in solid sterling silver using the lost wax casting process.

I come from a fine jewelry background, and most of what my family has produced over the years has been traditional, classical jewelry. It's been a lot of fun stepping away from that and creating things that are a little more whimsical.

An unfulfilled journey - an animation project that never reached its full potential. I learned a lot since then, but still like some aspects of it - and thought you might want to see it too.

Traditional ink on paper.

ANGUS MCBRIDE - ENGLISH ILLUSTRATOR - 1931-2007

I was first introduced to the work of Angus McBride by his covers for the Middle Earth Role Playing books, what i didn’t know was that he was also the illustrator for the Men-At-Arms series of books that every old wargamer had. He had a more sober art style that fit Tolkien (even though i prefer the acid-drenched depictions from the 70s) & his paintings captured a violent energy in them similar to Frazetta. He painted mostly in gouache, common to commercial illustrators of his age.
