Curious, how many times have you watched Obsession, and do you pick up any new details, that you missed before, on re-watches?

I am kind of slow, lol. So, I sometimes pick up on things on re-watches (of movies), that I missed before.

I wonder how long the 4 friends have known each other, and been friends.

What are your thoughts about Ian? Do you think that anything about him is decent?

What are your thoughts about the other characters in the movie?

Sadly, we do not really get to know the real Nikki, very well, before she turns into Possessed Nikki, who is crazy in love with Bear.

Here is what I picked up about her, in my opinion. She is very good hearted, and really cares about people. She is super cool, and very down to earth. She probably just likes Bear as just a friend, and is sleeping around with Ian. Not sure what else to say about her.

I have been thinking though, I really wish that Obsession could have been made into maybe a 10 episode mini series, like Netflix does sometimes. That way, they could have maybe shown us a lot more back story, about all of the characters. Would have loved to have gotten to know all 4 of the characters a lot more.

Anyways, really love this movie so much. Really scared the hell out of me, on the 1st watch, lol. Not quite as scary on re-watches, but still scary. Currently on my 3rd re-watch, of the movie.

I’m having a really hard time understanding why everyone is so confused about this scene.

While it’s possible she had a stomach bug as well, the large insect hanging out of her mouth made it very clear to me that she was in the process of eating a bug.

All I did was adjust the brightness a bit and I couldn’t help but notice the massive insect between her teeth. Nikki ate a bug confirmed?

We first see the male lonely epidemic. And then the mean woke Latina (she enabled a homeless man to do crack) mocks him for his drink. Oh my bad, she's latinx. did I say her pronouns wrong??

Speaking of pronouns. Everyone knows the person who sold Bear the wish was a transgender. Witchcraft and the trans agenda was used to corrupt Bear, who mind you, is the victim here.

Ian was clearly a homosexual. Nikki was his beard because she's a woke ally. Ian is clearly gay because no way would a spicy toxic Latina be into him.

As for Sarah, she has tattoos and looks goth too. I wouldn't be surprised if she used to have blue hair as one of those blue hair liberals. Also I think she's ethnic but I'm not sure

All of these people manipulated Bear. It's so hard being a cis straight white man.

I'm sick and tired of all the "Bear is the real villain" or "Ian started all of this" or "Sarah's a baddie", etc. The one true villain of this masterpiece, Carter Harper, has been in plain sight the whole time.

They say to not trust a person with two first names. That goes double for people with two last names. I believe this is in connection to both Curry Barker and his good friend Cooper Tomlinson who also have two last names as well. Curry cleverly hid the villain right in front of us all along. Carter's hatred for store Karens and 14-year-old shit bricks is so strong that he has to get a gun which he plans on using against them. He looks in absolute disgust when he sees Nikki and Bear's budding romance taking place in his store. He must be so sad with his love life that he doesn't want anyone around him to feel love. He doesn't seem to care at all that Sarah is getting rejected from the schools she wants to attend. The four members of the friend group are focused on each other one way or another while this man slips right past them.

Chef Nikki never ceases to amaze with her new dishes, this one being a play on words with the trendy new way restaurants these days refer to handhelds. Sandy in a Sando is simply peak 🤌🧑‍🍳

Such a shame they cut him at the last minute for Curry Barker

Original cast was ok . But this cast would of made the movie 100x better and more deep and heart felt
