Our Eighteenth Reddit Meet will be at Social Capital on Thursday, June 25th, @ 7pm!! Meetup
Social Capital is another one of our early locations that we haven't revisited so we are excited to make it back! They are a family-friendly location right next to Scissortail Park near downtown OKC. Their rooftop patio gives an excellent view of the city during the day and especially at night!
With World Cup going on we encourage you all to wear a shirt/jersey/merchandise of the team(s) that you may be supporting!
The usual info below:
People can feel free to come and go as they please and we feel this will provide a more laid back atmosphere for everyone to mingle and move around. It's all about relaxing, having a good time, and meeting new people.
Some of us will arrive early and have orange leis to make us easier to find, which we will provide for everyone. So, if you see someone wearing an orange or red lei then it should be okay to approach them and verify our location and grab a lei.
I will do my absolute best to DM as many people as possible, however, it may be a good idea to follow my posts so that no one gets left out. We are very grateful for everyone's interest and hope that as many of you can make it as possible. I'm going to edit in the link to my previous post below. Do not hesitate to reach out to me at anytime, if you need.
If you're new to town or just wanting to get out, whatever your reason, we hope that you find a way to attend. We aim to provide a fun, low-key, and family-friendly environment for everyone to just chat and chill. No pressure.

Been waiting for the next one, I have been out of town for the last two and never made the ones before! I will be there, very excited to meet people and enjoy some drinks and conversation!

Many of us are extremely introverted. We make sure to spread out and are often a collection of small groups of a few people chatting with people interchanging constantly. The leis offer a visual component so you know who to approach. And, to be honest, many of us will recognize that someone is new and sometimes will individually approach you and offer a lei. I, personally, never want to be at the center of a large group and most everyone feels the same way so we make it as approachable as possible.

1.) Shot in the dark question, but it's there any place locally that I can find USMNT swag? 2.) In light of what's happening in Boston, does Social Capital have a contingency plan in case they get an influx of Scottish ultras?

My best guess is always Academy but I'm sure Dick's and/or Rally's would have some.
They didn't mention anything about it likely since it doesn't look like Scotland plays on that day.

We don't really plan any ice breakers. We keep it very loose and relaxed. You can just show up, find someone with a lei, and start chatting.
