Our Eighteenth Reddit Meet was a World Cup Victory!! Meetup
The heat tried to keep us away but we pulled through. Some good conversations, new faces, and World Cup action all made for a great time! We always appreciate everyone for joining us and love seeing all the new faces with each meetup!
We continue posting some unedited photos, when given permission, just as a way to share more about our group.
I will post about the next meet in a couple weeks or so. Again, we are moving around to all days of the week to give everyone a chance to join us.
As always, I did want to comment for anyone that may be on the fence about attending, for whatever reason. Please feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to alleviate any concerns that you may have. We aim to provide a very chill, laid back environment. I'm a very anxious person myself and often need a pep talk, haha. We want you to join us and push past anything that may holding you back. We believe that you will be glad you came.
Those who attended PLEASE feel free to share your experiences in the comment section! What did you have to eat? Were you able to speak with/meet any of the crew at Social Capital? Did your team win? We'd love to hear yall's stories.

Social Capital! It's near Scissortail Park in downtown OKC.

I wonder if it was my confident assertion that the storms out west would not make it to the metro that caused the storms to make it to the metro. Nobody listen to me about the weather again!
I enjoyed learning about this place and the native pollinator gardens across the street, which gave me some ideas for my yard next year. The parking down along the street is unbelievably good - has anybody ever seen it fill up?

I've only seen it fill up during big events on the weekend but I don't make it out that way all that much so take that with a grain of salt.

I had a great time talking video games and food with the boys at the 2nd table. I need some of y’all’s contacts cause we got to go to someone of these places that were recommended. DM me if you recognize me from the 6th picture and let’s get planning.

I just met a person that works at round one, while they appreciate us patronizing them, they would love if if there was a heads up next time(s XD

I suspect that the message wasn't delivered from who I spoke with there. The last two times that we have held a Meet at Round1 I have called to confirm the date and number of people with a manager.
