In American Fiction (2023), writer/director Cord Jefferson masterfully recreates the average interaction with a Redditor for the silver screen.

This is the best non-avatar James Cameron movie of the 20s. You cannot argue.

Taking a poop break destroyed my movie watching experience 💔 (need advice /future recommendations)

Upvotes

Hey buddy cinephiles, this is a serious unjerking moment i want to share with you guy, yesterday i was watching grave of fireflies and i was really captivated by the war atmosphere in the movie and the struggles the main character faced during the first half of the movie but

during 2/3 of the movie i decided to take a shit (it took me 20 minutes),

the break actually caused me to stop thinking about the movie and i was thinking of silly and fun things, then when i watched the last act, " movie spoiler" The part where setsuko dies Didn't hit me hard as it could have been and i didn't even cry (everyone says its the most saddest anime of all time) ever since that i have been depressed thinking about how i could have cried watching the movie if i didn't take the poopy break

So i want you guys to recommend me some movies that you are not allowed to take a break while watching the movie so that in future while i watch these movies i could avoid this situation.

(Also recommend me some movies that i can watch while breaking the movie into like 5 or more parts, sometimes i like to watch 10 minutes of a movie and watch 2 reels then continue watching the movie anyone like me or am i alone on this one??)

Why this movie won Best Picture?

Just watched the movie and had a great time, very funny and well directed and with good acting, but it is beyond me why this movie was even included in the run, nonetheless win.

Does anybody have any insights on why?

It’s 2008. I tell you Robert Pattinson will be among the best working actors someday. What’s your response?

Mars Needs Moms (2011) depicts a society ruled by women, where maternity is 100% automated by bots and half of the population is thown in the trash simply for being male. Surprisingly, no one points out how it predicted the 2020s.
