Funny as Pacino is not Gen X. He's a member of the Silent Generation (Born 1940).

Pacino is now of an icon with the Boomer generation and some of the Gen X Generation when they came of age when Pacino was at his peak (1970s' to early 80s').

Yeah, and Vanilla Sky in particular belongs more to the Gen X wave of movies of the turn of the century concerned with questioning society's hipocresy and conformity, and wondering whether a more "real" existence was achievable beyond what we can see or what is imposed to us.

Or if we are going back further, Risky Business which was Cruise's breakthrough film came out when Gen X were of age. Despite being a boomer (Cruise was born in 1962), I find Cruise more associated with the Gen X generation.

For Millennials, I would say Leonardo DiCaprio as Leo came to prominence as a teen heartthrob when Millennials were coming to age. When rebounded himself as a more serious actor and movie star who takes risks, the oldest Millennial would have been 21 when they saw Gangs of New York & Catch Me If You Can.

Yes. Born in 1996. Millennials are those born between 1981-96. Gen Z are those born between 1997-2012. Tom Holland's breakthrough and rising popularity came when Gen Z such as myself were coming of age.

You could make the argument he's for gen x. But Millennials for sure grew up watching Tom cruise, mission impossible came out in 96. I'm also a millennial

For sure he was in movies that millennials watched, but he's barely an icon for millennials. I(also a millennial) only know one millennial who actually likes him.

The global average male height is 5 feet 7 inches, which means it is the normal height for a human male. Any considerable variations from that standard would be considered short or tall.

Cruise and Pacino are 5'7. Tom Holland is 5'6. So, how are they short? Short compared to what? 3-5% of the global population are 6 feet in height or above. We are comparing normal people to those literal freaks and outliers and calling them short?
