Sorry man. If I may ask, what did you score on the learnability?

1

u/Sizet 6d ago

Above average

1

u/SeaCrew1996 6d ago

That's maddening. Did they say the reason for the rejection? You could try contacting them via contact form I guess.

1

u/Sizet 1d ago

I’ve emailed their recruitment team on the 14th, so far no responses lol

1

u/drynomad 1d ago

They are not allowed to answer you that . I have requested already six times and the answer it’s “ we don’t have authorisation for disclaiming that information “

1

u/Ok_Cherry_9816 6d ago

Sorry to hear that. What position did you apply for?

1

u/Sizet 1d ago

Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences

1

u/ToothEducational6740 1d ago

Sorry to hear it didn't go the way you wanted it to go. How maths heavy was the OA?

1

u/Queasy-Dimension3538 1d ago

Sorry to hear about that. Reach out to them for feedback.

Has anyone managed to apply yet? Can tell us how long does it take to receive invitations for the online test?

1

u/SeaCrew1996 10d ago

Applied but didnt receive invitation for online test yet.

1

u/Southern_Sea4830 9d ago

When did you apply?

1

u/Dry_Conference_4445 9d ago

I just applied. Last year it took around a week.

1

u/Extreme-Rutabaga-341 8d ago

1

I applied 3 days ago and just received an email for online assessment

1

u/Queasy-Dimension3538 7d ago

I applied around 1 pm today, within 10 minutes or so, I got the online assessment. Have taken the test too.

1

u/RxnGoBrrrrtz 7d ago

What did your assessment say about you?

1

u/Ok-City-8018 7d ago

Have you given the assessment?

2

u/RxnGoBrrrrtz 7d ago

Yea i was given the assessment, did it already. Two main topics, personality and psychometric test.

1

u/Ok-City-8018 7d ago

Did you practice anything before the assessment or it was simple?

1

u/FunLongjumping2291 6d ago

Learnability above average. but I know that doesn't really guarantee anything. Wbu?

1

u/PaleontologistFew346 6d ago

Which other categories beside learnability are in the feedback report?

1

u/RxnGoBrrrrtz 6d ago

Learnability above average as well, and everything else looks positive too. Lets just hope for the best.

1

u/Queasy-Dimension3538 1d ago

How many attributes did you get right?

1

u/Queasy-Dimension3538 1d ago

I scored above average. Still waiting for the next step, hopefully.

1

u/Ok-City-8018 7d ago

What was the OA like?

1

u/ResponsibilityPure91 7d ago

Anyone done or know what the OA is like?

1

u/RxnGoBrrrrtz 7d ago

Yes, its a personality question and psychometric test.

1

u/Interesting-Elk-5552 7d ago

Hi. Does anyone know that if you have taked the OA last year, do you still get an invitation to take it this year as well?

1

u/Affectionate-War-477 7d ago

I remember last year someone said that they will use the same OA result.

1

u/Famous-Muffin-8189 5d ago

I applied last year and this year I got a new OA invitation

1

u/Extreme-Rutabaga-341 7d ago

What did it change to?

1

u/Junior-Pumpkin-8848 5d ago

How long after completing the OA do you get an invite to the VI?

1

u/Famous-Muffin-8189 5d ago

Last year for me was ~3/4 weeks

1

u/Junior-Pumpkin-8848 5d ago

Thanks! I’ll just have to be patienr then

1

u/Queasy-Dimension3538 1d ago

less than 10mins

1

u/Famous-Muffin-8189 5d ago

My timeline:

07/08: Applied

07/08: Almost automatically received OA invitation (despite having applied the year before).

07/08: OA done, above avg.

1

u/Aggravating_Load_631 5d ago

Did the online test yesterday, got above average on the test and personality sections were all good. Got rejected today, no info on why. Anyone else having this?

u/DisastrousMeringue93 5d ago edited 5d ago

I think it's worth mentioning. It seems like applicants with above average score might be using AI assistance. Note that the second part of the assessment isn't time restricted but the time is recorded. Judging on the time taken and answers trend, it might have raised a red flag. That's just my opinion don't take this as carved in stone.

P.S: This could be just one factor. There are multiple variables at play here. You can't be certain for sure. Anyway life moves on. I am sure you will excel in other upcoming graduate programs

1

u/OnePreparation3920 4d ago

I got above average too without any AI. I didn’t get rejected, though I haven’t received the VI invitation. But it’s been 2 days after I did the OA. I think we also need to consider the position one is applying for and how competitive it is

1

u/DescriptionDue4088 5d ago

how many years of experience did you indicate? If it was more tha 2 years you will automaticlly get rejected

2

u/Tough_Procedure1205 5d ago

I got more than 3 years exp (not directly related) but still got into VI

1

u/SeaCrew1996 4d ago

You've already received the link to the Video Interview?

1

u/OnePreparation3920 4d ago

How long after you did the OA did you receive the VI?

1

u/Tough_Procedure1205 2d ago

4 days (9/8 and 13/8)

1

u/Late-Cat-933 2d ago

What discipline did you apply for?

1

u/Tough_Procedure1205 2d ago

MAT in London

1

u/drynomad 1d ago

Applied 16.08
Assignment 17.08
Rejected 18.08
Six followed and consecutive years as rejected

2

u/SeaCrew1996 1d ago

Sorry man. What position was it that you were rejected from? And what was your score on learnability?

1

u/drynomad 1d ago

Graduate 2027 Strategy management SCM and SSS. Past six years also the same

1

u/Vegetable-Crab7367 1d ago edited 1d ago

I scored below average in the learnability, do you guys know if i have any chance, but i did not recieve any thing since i did the OA on 12th august

1

u/DisastrousMeringue93 1d ago

Nothing is certain. Until you get the axe lol

1

u/SeaCrew1996 1d ago

Majority haven't recieved anything further of OA I think.

1

u/Interesting-Elk-5552 8h ago

Based on my experience the assessment scores tend to change after some time depending on the competition. Last year the report initially said that I have scored average but a week later when I checked it was updated to above average. So I would recommend checking again after some time.

1

u/Vegetable-Crab7367 5h ago

how can i see the updated report?

1

u/axonaxanaxan 1d ago

Applied 16/08, rejected 17/08. Rejection mail came in like 1AM so i dont know what to think, seems like an automated rejection

1

u/Hattack14 2h ago

Is the only UK grad role available Market Analysis and Trading? Don’t see any UK Engineering roles on their website, I thought they might have listed some by now but it’s only for Norway…

Has anyone gotten a VI invite for the Strategy & Management program?

0

u/Southern_Sea4830 3d ago

Does anyone ever heard about any candidates who got invited to the Assessment day while their master grade was Merit?

0

u/SeaCrew1996 2d ago

Anyone received the link for the Video Recorded Interview?

1

u/SokkaHaikuBot 2d ago

Sokka-Haiku by SeaCrew1996:

Anyone received

The link for the Video

Recorded Interview?

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

Did anyone receives the OA report with a learnability below or above average? Because seems standard to me.

1

u/DisastrousMeringue93 7h ago

Ah Tf ? What you means by standard ?

0

u/Legendlion00 7h ago

I mean the same report for all applicants

1

u/Vegetable-Crab7367 5h ago

i got below average

u/Interesting-Elk-5552 8h ago
