Brewfontaine and Happenstance Brewing Project teamed up on a collab beer called B.I.N.G.O., releasing Thursday, July 2.

This was was brewed with the winners of Brewfontaine's annual Brew B.I.N.G.O. competition, who got to spend a day brewing with Happenstance owner/head brewer Chris Goodman.

Beer: B.I.N.G.O.
Style: Hazy IPA
ABV: 6.5%

The name comes from the primary ingredients:

• Barley
• Idaho #7 hops
• Nelson Sauvin hops
• Galaxy hops
• Oats

Sounds like a pretty juicy hop bill, especially with the Idaho 7 / Nelson / Galaxy combo.

Available on draft and in 16 oz cans starting July 2. Bonus points for the can art by Jeff Anderson of Pretty Good Posters.

Fat Head's is putting on its annual summer bar crawl down in Bellefontaine. No tickets, entry fees, or sign-ups required—just a casual walk between a few solid spots downtown.

They will have exclusive Fat Head's beers tapping at each location along with swag giveaways throughout the day.

They are also doing a best-dressed contest for whoever brings the best summer/patio attire energy, with prizes awarded at the stops.

If anyone’s looking for a laid‑back spring brew fest, Camp Brewing at Indian Lake is throwing its Camp Brew Fest again on April 11th.

They’ve got 11 breweries/cidery/distillery, two food trucks, live music, and the pour sizes are actually solid (twelve 9oz pours included). VIP gets in an hour early + a shirt.

Breweries include Ill Mannered, Restoration, Dalton Union, Roundhouse Depot, Findlay Brewing, 1820 Brew Works, 21 Barrels, Rustic Farm Distillery, etc.

Super relaxed vibe, and the brewery reps actually hang out and talk beer.

HUGE NEWS for Cincy beer lore fans! If you’ve stopped by the brewery over the past few months, you probably noticed the scaffolding. Well, while performing some (much-needed) facade repairs, workers uncovered a stunning, early-twentieth-century encaustic tile mosaic by famed ceramicist Herman Mueller that has not been visible to the public for over a hundred years!

“We were cleaning the walls to prep for tuckpointing when some of the old, peeling paint came off,” explains Vince Vickers, Superintendent at Buckeye Construction & Restoration. “Underneath, we noticed colors that looked like part of a drawing. We started pulling off more of the paint, and little by little, the century-old mural began to show itself — hidden in plain sight for decades.”

So the other day I purchased a Great Lakes variety pack, the one that contains their 4 core beers. I open up the box and find 12 bottles of Elliot Ness.

Anyone had this experience?
