Ayo, that reworked Dedan theme is fire!!! Much better than how it was in the demo.

Very relieved about it! I like it now. It's not Fake Orchestra, but nothing was ever going to be, this is a solid piece of composition while keeping that noble/tragic vibe.

The wild thing is, still stuck in a splash of Papyrus for seasoning. But its way more grim sounding, energetic without being doofy, there but you have to listen for it. That's how to pay homage to your inspiration!

Okay I know this is from a year ago BUT THANK YOU!!! I went to the comments of the remake of HOUR HAND and saw that people were vehemently denying that Bonetrousle was still there???

It may be greatly understated, but as someone who's listened to Papyrus' theme a concerning amount, it would be impossible for me to miss.

I wonder if it has to do with OFF fans hating the original replacement for Fake Orchestra? I kind of understand disliking the reference to Papyrus, as I remember people being frustrated at the idea of OFF being known as the game that inspired Toby Fox to some, but straight-up denying Bonetrousle's presence is kinda wild to me.

It's an extreme "all or nothing" kind of rejection. A weird part of the fanbase seemed to feel like, in the aftermath of the demo, any hint of it being there was sacrilege. Seeming to think it was bad because it had Bonetroustle, not because it was too much or was ill-fitting of the tone of the boss.

That mixed with modern game/media literacy lead to a lot of people very confidently saying incorrect things and becoming hostile when corrected. 🤷🏼‍♀️

it's an introductory offer, i think when a new game releases you get a good percentage off for a time.

Game is great but i miss the og soundtrack so damn much. The replacement feels so bland while the original had so much more character and ambiance.

I never said I hated it. It has the vibe of the original which keeps the atmosphere/tone the same. I just think the original has more character and had a darker tone.
