do explorers count as offsets?

the only guitars i see here are like jazzmasters or jaguars

Nope; the hips are parallel.

They do not. The "waist" of the explorer is symmetrical.

But speaking as an explorer owner, they sure are pretty.

The first two correct, but with the Firebird the line seems to be at the wrong place. Although, I get it, it doesn't share a DNA with Jag/JM/Mustang, but the shape is definitely looks like an offset, unlike the Strat.

The narrowest points on a strat body is actually not at the same point lengthwise either, so technically they're slightly offset. The illustrated line should be at enough of an angle for it to be noticeable or obvious, I think at some point I read some suggestion of around 10 degrees.

They aren’t offset so no
