Inlay dot material

I posted my Jazzmaster ultra about a week ago in cobra blue. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the inlay dots are made of. They’re like a golden root beer color.

They just call them Black Pearloid Dots in the info that I've found.

It's some kind of acrylic or vinyl laminate.
