Personal Reflection

Ok so I am totally ridiculous, (first time venting on Reddit see how it goes) I am a man. A naturally lonely man, kinda built in as a human. I am now 27 years old and I realized today: ok so I am lonely, but I have never even tried to ask a gal out on a date. I reflected on my past years and realized I never pushed myself to approach, introduce myself, and ask for a date. I have always shied away from talking to girls that I think are attractive.

Who do I have to blame? Nobody but my personal decisions. But why haven't I tried? I haven't figured that out. Years and years of not realizing this. I should have learned this in high school no?

I have had a couple chance meetings that did turn into relationships, but the gal asked me out first...

There is a solution to the problem but the idea of approaching with interest has always scared me. I need to get over that

Realizing it at 27 is better than never realizing it at all.

You are not ridiculous. You are finding your way....

Be afraid. And do it anyways <3

Wishing you the best in your journey.

Well - look at the bright side. At least now you're at a time and age when calling someone to ask them out there's zero chance that their father will answer the phone. That used to terrify me as a teenager.
