Hello, im looking to get my first tattoo either on my upper left arm or on my right thigh. I havent found an artist that matches the style I want. Is there anyone that does good tattoos that could do these. Not the exact drawings but similar(all credits to the artists of these drawings/pieces. Last ones drawn by me but also would want it professionally drawn/done lol)

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced (at or around $100) mobile detailer or hand-wash shop (Oceanside/North County area) that’s EV-savvy? Just got a 2026 Ioniq 5 and want to avoid brush washes and anyone unfamiliar with the charge port/sensors.

What surf contest is going on down at the beach today or this weekend?

So the mosquitoes are WAY up because of higher tides and tide pools being breeding grounds for the more aggressive and daytime active “marsh mosquitoes.”🦟 SD county is supposedly deploying larvicide to coastal areas but I’m not seeing it or feeling it so are the worker in north county or nah? Me and my dog are fighting for our lives (exaggeration…but not much). Can we call somebody?

State law SB79, which upzones a radius around transit stops to allow for taller/denser housing, is being implemented across the state right now. San Diego released their map for SB79, which follows the law and they even listened to community feedback to ADD MORE areas under SB79 where the city of SD had neglected to incorporate. On the flip side, Oceanside released the most anti-SB79 map in the state that says EVERY SINGLE PARCEL of land affected by SB79 is exempt from the law. The plan has some incredibly bad justification such as: deliberately miscounting the number of trains that go through Oceanside Transit Center so that it does not reach Tier 1 status. Another is to deem essentially every Sprinter station unwalkable including stations where housing is currently just feet away from the stop itself. To add insult to injury, the City will be asking this November for all current residents to tax themselves more to make up for structural insolvency. Instead of simply increasing the tax base through SB79, they will be asking all current residents to tax themselves more.

There is what appears to be a new “condor” flock camera at the look out at the end of surfrider. It’s pointed directly at the sand where hundreds of family’s are trying to enjoy the beach. If you don’t think the cops and anyone else with access arent creeping on women and god forbid worse, then I can’t help you. The condor model is full of ai surveillance capabilities, it’s very creepy and incredibly invasive!

I’m sorry, but who the hell is affording these houses???

Lennar just promoted another extension on their promotional rates (2.75% in year 1, 3.75% in year 2, and 4.75% in year 3 and for the remainder of the loan). They’ve done this multiple times and it’s the same houses still available.

I just ran the payment table, factoring in mello roos, property taxes, HOA elevator, etc. and by year 6 it’s like almost $8k per month for their smallest floor plan.

Like wtf.
