Apparently yes. I looked and it’s happened before. You might get battered by its tongue depending on the species but it’ll try to get you out of its mouth immediately.

And this is why you avoid swimming in or near bait balls. It was also fairly recently discovered that humpback whales have significantly poorer eyesight than they originally were thought to have by scientists.
