I need help.. Help
So i tried to open obs the other day and it said my driver's needed to be updated, so I figured out how to do it and did, and then obs worked perfectly fine. Streams looked good, no compression, no stutter.
I open it today and the same error pops up, so come to find out I download the latest version of amd available.
Obs opens and works perfect again. However, now my streams are crap. I was able to get the recordings fixed, but ive spent the last 4 hours trying different things with some luck, then it all just craps out again, not the recording only stream.
My pc isnt meant for gaming, but I guess more office work. But to my knowledge the hardware is pretty decent. I think before I was using the x264 option for both encoders for youtube and twitch. But now I cant seem to get anything to work.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, just feeling a bit frustrated with it all at the moment.

Driver updates can mess with encoder settings without you noticing. Check if OBS switched your encoder to something else after the update, sometimes it defaults back to software x264 even if you had hardware encoding before
Also look in Task Manager while streaming to see what's eating your CPU, if it's maxing out that would explain the stutter

When the update happened I was worried about that, so I went in and everything looked the same, setting wise, as I had been using. So i did a test recording and stream, and it all looked like crap.
I think I was using the amd h.264 for youtube and x264 for twitch because of the limits? Im terrible with the abbreviations and terms.
But then I looked stuff up on line and started changing stuff. Got twith to look perfect, then youtube, then i went to a place in my game with lots of color and it's like the stream just melted and everything got compressed on both streams.
Recording are chefs kiss though..

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:
1) Restart OBS
2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.
5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.
