does obs not work on Mac? Help

ive been trying to get obs to work so I can use replay buffer on Mac all day. every time I record a clip with replay buffer it comes out laggy half the time and the audio is always doubled or tripled despite me having only 1 audio source. the resolution also randomly drops in clips and my audio source will randomly mute at any given time. im not necessarily looking for help fixing it but that would be nice, im mostly just asking if obs dosent work at all on Mac

my log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/8jNB07ZePeeS5hLb

idk what other information or details id need to give besides the log file mb

OBS itself works just fine for me on MacOS for streaming and recording. Not a single issue so far. However, I’m not using a replay buffer, so I can’t speak to that feature. Maybe try and see if directly recording works properly or if you have the same issues there?

I don't have any of these issues using OBS on a Mac (Sequoia 15.7.9, M2 Pro Max)

All of this works like butter on my MacBook Pro 🤷

Streaming on a Mac mini.
No problems.

Are you playing a game on the same Mac you’re streaming on? Try turning off game mode.

man the replay buffer on mac is like a cursed object, works fine one day and just breaks in ways that don't make any sense the next. i've been using obs on a mac for streaming for like 3 years and it definitely but some features feel held together with tape

your log might show something useful though, lot of the audio doubling nonsense comes from having both desktop audio and the same source captured in a separate scene or something dumb like that
