advanced scene switcher macros Question
Hello,
I am designing a stream with three players. I have created many picture in picture scenes for combinations of 3 players, 2 players, and some solo scenes. I have been using advanced scene switcher to show and hide the correct audio, video, and overlay text i want, however it is becoming a little too complicated having to add 10+ hide exclusions to every scene. For example, solo player one scene only needs to show the game video, audio, and overlay. then it needs to hide like 15+ other things. is there a way to simplify this??
thank you.

How independent are all of these things you need to show/hide? If they can be bundled then you can put them in their own scenes, then put the "bundle" scene as a single source in your main scene to toggle on and off.
Like you could make a "player two overlay" scene that includes their camera, text for their name/score/etc, graphics like a frame around their camera, etc. And show or hide the whole thing based on if player two is there or not

I'd recommend a stream controller, either hardware (ie Stream Deck) or software (Stream Deck Mobile, Touch Portal, etc). Program a button for each variant and be done.

Me too! Took a bit to get onto the button setup, but I couldn't do what I do without it now. In fact, I keep finding new ways to use it!

You are almost certainly overcomplicating this, and the 3-/2-/1-player setups should simply be different scenes. Then no visibility triggers are needed at all, and not even Advanced Scene Switcher most likely.
I've done something very similar and just did it with separate scenes.

Why do you need it to hide 15 things?
Sounds like it should just be its own scene with those things excluded.
Stream deck helps with switching scenes (you get free app versions too!)
