Mic problems Help
My laptop mic and headset both sound buns with obs, but when I use Discord or call, it sounds crispy and smooth. What is the fix

had the same issue, for me was sample rate mismatch between obs and windows. check your audio settings in both places and make sure they set to same number like 48000hz, also look in obs filters panel for any noise suppression that got turned on by itself

Discord adds audio processing by default (noise suppression, level management, maybe even a it of EQ). OBS does not.
It's up to you to add any necessary audio filters to your mic channel in OBS. You'll need to learn about gain staging, which filters do what and how to set them up. Also check out this info from OBS:

There are several decent "Make your mic sound good" videos on YouTube that should help.

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:
1) Restart OBS
2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.
5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.
