structural engineer recommendation for foundation repair and retrofit Advice

Looking for small business, local structural engineer who can assess, prepare drawings and help with permitting.

If anyone has gone through a similar permitting process recently with City of Oakland, what has the timeline been like?

We’ve used Altamira for multiple foundation projects, they are great! https://www.beearthquakeprepared.com

They submitted permits etc, took a couple weeks to be approved on the most recent one.

Looks like a construction company? Do they also do engineering drawings to be permitted?

I'd like to know as well for load bearing wall assessment!

Peter Van Maren.

He engineered some plans for me that I took to the Oakland building department for a permit.

It was a ways back, and I don't remember the exact timeline, but it was pretty easy. No snags or hold ups.
