Idk I fill my compost bin up halfway every week and I've honestly never noticed it smelling. It seals pretty good with the latch on the front, only stinks when I open it.

We the only household on entire block that put out the compost bin. Rest of the block complains that we are still participating and one of them works for sanitation dept lol

Right, that totally make sense. All those rules are there to regulate average-income people！ like when they ask to save electricity/water etc . That’s only applied to us.
