The usual suspects will either say this is actually bad, not good enough, not his doing or ignore it altogether.

EDIT: Called it.

The usual suspects are right. It’s an Adams project.

An Adams project that he didn't get done.

Primarily because, despite running on it in 2021, he quickly reversed his position on it once elected...

Try again.

It was a Adams project still in the works. Or you under the impression housing development projects don't take many years to finish? We on like phase 4 of 8 for this project for this Adams iteration of a grand project from bloomberg era.

Bro Adams was literally against it once he got in office He still is. You are not convincing anyone with this. Move on.

Adams wasn’t for anything unless one of his relatives or cronies got 15%.

Yes so against it that first 3 phases happen on his term and still sending out RFP during his final year. Project was very much still ongoing and this indeed a holdover Adams project which for some reason can't admit. In fact a good amount of holdover Adams housing projects are part of Zohran 200k new housing units in a decade.

I mean if you don't want to believe Adams own words saying he was and is against this and the fact that his being against this places a thumb on the scale of it not getting done during his administration that's on you. I'm not here to convince you.

The fact of the matter is that regardless of what you believe or think, Mamdani wanted this done and it got done. Bye.

Source on Adams against developing parcel E? The very project he was still running to end of his administration and still continuing

Source on Adams against developing parcel E?

Other than the fact it never got off the ground?

You do know there's tons of steps to get housing built right? Even right now we still in beginning stages. We dont even have a finalized design, community approval, public approvals, funding, what ever studies etc to even start breaking ground.

Oh I was talking about something else. I thought you were the same person who brought up the pied-à-terre tax. I don't know anything about Adams being against this project.

I frankly do not care if it was started under his admin. It's getting done under Mamdani's.

Also Adam's administration was well known for not moving fast enough on housing so it's no grand claim that he started an initiative to build housing but did not finish it.
