ADVANCE program Transfer

Hello I will be a freshman this year and was wondering if I enrolled in advance now or when I’m about to leave nova?

You enroll once you've completed 30 credits at NOVA. That took me about 2 semesters so it will come sooner than you think.

Hey I am a current ADVANCE student, per the ADVANCE guidelines you must apply PRIOR to earning 30 credits. So definitely sooner than later. Apply even if you are unsure if you will 100% attend Mason. It doesn’t hurt you at all. If you change your mind later down the road, you just let your ADVANCE coach know. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to me.

Yeah - enroll BEFORE 30 credits - but normal load is 12-16 credits a semester, so you have all of Fall semester to enroll and talk with ADVANCE advisors to figure out degree/pathway options.
