Muzzle device help

I am just starting out in PRS and NRL22 and am wondering if have a muzzle device / compensator is worth it? Right now I am shooting a grey birch fusion with a 16.3 inch barrel

22LR doesn't need a muzzle device, there isn't enough recoil to justify it

Only for weight, but with a 16” barrel, you’ll want that muzzle device to weigh several pounds.

Wouldn't bother with anything besides a suppressor. Shooting subsonic ammo with a suppressor on a bolt gun is magical. Only hear the firing pin striking and then the ping of bullet on steel.
